Chinese Electric Vehicles Sold in Cuba by Finauto International
Finauto International, the official dealer of Kia Motors in Cuba, marks a new era in the Cuban automotive industry with the arrival of electric cars from China.
These vehicles, aimed at the country’s flourishing private sector, offer a range of prices fluctuating between 9,000 and approximately 12,000 euros.
Luis Carlos Góngora Domínguez, Vice President of the Administration Council of Havana, announced through his Facebook profile that the cars of the brand Jin Ma J2-P will be available in the Cuban market.
These vehicles, with variants for personal use, refrigerated cargo, and general cargo, will be presented at the II Local Development Fair in EXPOCUBA, which will take place from July 11 to 16.
A Bet for the Future
Finauto International promotes the acquisition of these electric vehicles as a significant investment for the future of Cuba.
Electric cars, being more sustainable and ecological than conventional ones, reduce the dependence on imported oil, improve the standard of living of citizens, and promote innovation and job creation in the country.

Finauto Ltd., a prominent player
Finauto Ltd., with commercial ties in Liechtenstein, has its headquarters at 182 #1311 street between 13 and 15, Reparto Siboney, Playa municipality, Havana.
Since 1997, it has played a prominent role on the island and is among the organizations associated with the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba.
This news comes at a time of resurgence in relations between the Cuban government and its ally in the Kremlin.
