New hotel to open in the heart of Havana’s Malecon (Cuba) on March 15
A new hotel will open on the Malecon in Havana (Cuba) on March 15. With 600 rooms, the new Grand Aston Havana will change the skyline of this popular area of the Cuban capital, due to its tall towers.
Specifically, the new Grand Aston La Habana is located in the Vedado neighborhood, close to the commercial district, its stores and restaurants, but also to offices and business places. Thus, the hotel will be the first in Havana to have a bank branch (BFI).
However, the hotel has no shortage of amenities for its guests, ranging from Havana’s only 24-hour fitness center and the city’s only massage center with Balinese techniques, the Ubud Spa, to a 56-meter-long infinity pool overlooking the sea.
The Grand Aston La Habana belongs to Archipelago, the largest independent and privately owned hotel management group in Southeast Asia, although with an ambitious growth plan in the Caribbean and the Middle East.
The hotel company points out that the establishment will open with 100% of its employees vaccinated against Covid-19. In addition, all personnel are frequently tested.
